Please join WPHRN co-director, Dr. Susan Zahner, Wauwatosa Health Department health officer, Laura Conklin, and the Public Health Activities and Services Tracking (PHAST) team Thursday, February 6 from 11:00 to noon CT for an update on the Uniform Chart of Accounts (UCOA) project. The UCOA enables public health agencies to operate more efficiently by organizing the total costs of programs and services into categories based on the Foundational Public Health Services model. With UCOA data, participating agencies can identify gaps in funding, analyze revenue sources, and support budgeting, performance management, and external reporting.
There are still opportunities for local health departments to get in on the action. With the support of the PHAST team, participating local health departments will crosswalk or map program expenditures and revenues from their accounting systems into the UCOA format. This webinar will describe the benefits participating agencies have gained from using the UCOA, with examples of applying UCOA data in practice. Information on project timeline and other details will be provided for health departments interested in joining the project.
The webinar will take place via Zoom. No registration is required. Details for joining are below.
